[12/07/2025] - Qualifier #1, Bayport Blue Point High School

We came in second place and qualified for the finals, although there were setbacks like our autonomous code and driving strategies, we stayed consistent and finished strong with the whole tean supporting each other.

[01/18/2025] - Qualifier #2, Sewanaka High School

We placed 13th in this qualifier, but earned the Sustained Award—the highest-ranking award in the competition. The robot also featured several new improvements, including a newly implemented sorter.

Freshman Carnival

The Freshman Carnival is a yearly event at our school that gives new students the opportunity to explore and interact with a wide variety of St. Anthony’s clubs. It also provides us with a great opportunity to introduce our robotics team to freshmen who may not have known about it otherwise and to recruit new, enthusiastic members.

Open House 2025

The St. Anthony's open house is a chance for the club to introduce ourselves to the incoming class of freshman. The event is a great oppurtunity to showcase the integration of S.T.E.M. in our school. This event is also an amazing opertunity for recruitment to the robotics team.

Meetings With Chris Aliperti

This year, we welcomed Chris Aliperti to our team as a mentor. Chris is the youngest engineer at the United States Military Academy at West Point. We met with him via Zoom to discuss robot design and various engineering principles, gaining valuable insight that will support our development efforts.

Our Robot


Robot Name: LeBot James

Our robot uses a wheel-based intake that limits collection to one artifact at a time and funnels it smoothly into a sorter. A curved, lacrosse-inspired “Finger” mechanism then pushes the artifact into a consistent alignment position, preventing jams and unwanted rotation. From there, a motor-driven shooter launches the artifact accurately, with all three systems designed for reliability, precision, and efficient scoring.

  • 1: Robot intake: A wheel-based intake limits collection to one artifact at a time and uses a funnel to guide it efficiently into the sorter while saving space.
  • 2: Robot shooter: A motor-driven wheel shooter launches artifacts from a consistent alignment for accurate and reliable scoring.
  • 3: Robot sorter: A rotary, 3D-printed sorter with chamfered edges and reinforced shaft supports smoothly directs artifacts and prevents jamming, with room for future sensor integration.
